Tour Details

The Sacred Valley of the Incas is located between the towns of Pisaq and Ollantaytambo and can be accessed from the city of Cusco. This valley has geographic and climatic qualities that were very special for the Incas.

The Incas turned the valley into one of the main points of agricultural production due to the wealth of their lands. In addition, there is the place where the best corn grain of Peru is produced.

The Sacred Valley of the Incas is made up of archaeological monuments and various indigenous peoples who inhabit it.

It has an incomparable historical wealth and is also home to three of the most important typical artisan markets in Cusco: Písaq, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero.

The Sacred Valley has a very important historical wealth and is one of the most important tourist centers in Peru. The Urubamba region offers various possibilities for tourism: thermal baths, boating and kayaking “Rafting”, paragliding, hiking, horseback riding and mountaineering, among others.

At an altitude of 2,800 meters above sea level, with a pleasant climate, despite reaching high temperatures and being an area full of vegetation, the valley is free of mosquitoes due to the altitude at which it is located. We also recommend staying the night in the heart of the Sacred Valley in the living Inka city of Ollantaytambo.
